This goes beyond candidates and races. What is the plan right now, today, while people are dying.

I want Trump out. I don’t vote GOP but I am more unhappy with the Democrats than ever.

What will be, will be because my vote won’t count.

I agree. Kamala's silence is deafening. She's a no for me, and I was all in on her.

Will it get us a candidate that is more or less likely to win the election (versus the primary)?

It gives candidates outside of the establishment a real shot. That is how Mamdani beat Cuomo in the nyc primary.

Agreed. Reminder that winning Democratic presidential candidates like Carter and Obama came out of seemingly nowhere.

Agree. And so far the only voices I hear are Newsome, Murphy and Buttigieg.

Many people deeply dissatisfied with Trump will likely reluctantly vote for whoever is not the candidate promising to continue his legacy. However I do hope the Democrats can get it together enough to give us a candidate people can be enthusiastic about voting for - instead of only voting strongly against the other guy.

Yes— ask Bernie if he is a Democrat.

The DNC has virtually no power

I am disappointed in my rep. I have heard very little from her, except when she was under the threat of gerrymandering…

I think the answer to that is quite obviously no.

I really hope the DNC understands that many of us won't be able to get behind a candidate who is silent and unseen NOW, when our democracy is being systematically dismantled. Don't try to shove a candidate down our throats who is carefully curated but had no discernable stance when it mattered. The DNC should understand that but I'm afraid they don't.
