Don't need college credit- just for exploration experience. Kid unsure of major but can probably rule out engineering.

What areas of interest? And do you mean college classes or just camp themes?

Michigan Tech has a variety of engineering and science themed camps, along with a few business offerings. Prices are somewhat reasonable for sleepover camps. And you could join a few weeks together to make a sampler. However, these are not for college credit. They are also inconveniently located for DMV people to drop off and pick up.

Most of the real summer college programs I've seen are ones where a kid takes just a single college class at the normal price the school charges.

Looking for summer pre- college programs that allow students to take classes in a few different subjects, live in dorms, etc. That aren't crazy expensive.

Not trying to get admission advantage, just build confidence and explore different subjects. This worked well for older child but his program is no longer available. We are on MD and will travel but have seen some only open to in-state residents of other states.
