I’ve been seeing on my SM feed a lot of Paris Paloma’s Labour. That one is more specific to women being oppressed but it still resonates.

+1 Jesse Welles is writing music about what is happening the the world today

He's doing two concerts in DC in March. We have tickets.

Green Day and Cake in concert were also very anti-Trump.

He’s been all over MSM as well, and he performed at a recent ACLU event.

But he needs more songs. It’s just the one that he keeps pushing.

I have this algo also.

I wish Pink would release a new version of Dear Mr. President which was about GWB.

Pink is an amazing talent and is maintaining a long career in a difficult industry and tries to use her high profile for good.

Curious what artists, mainstream or indie, are putting out songs about this current moment. Thinking of either blunt in your face like LLM's "Immigrants, we get the job done" or even Taylor's cheeky You Need to Calm Down that was pro LGBT and anti Internet bullying.

I'm certainly not in the zeitgeist but what am I missing today?
