Do not cut out all salt! You need around at least 1000 milligrams a day or you can get hyponatremia. Depending on how low your sodium goes, this can require hospitalization, not what you need when planning a vacation.

Taking a vacation in 3 weeks. It's a tropical trip and I'm normally active and exercise most days, i eat ... okay... but I've definitely over-indulged over the holidays and feel gross and am feeling like my pants are fitting tighter, I'm mainly feeling chubbier in the stomach and hips. Open to strict clean eating diets, but just want my waist line to look skinnier.
