Again, why will $25/h guarantee "a living wage"? If I am a landlord, I'd immediately raise rent from $1250 per mo to $1800 per mo if we are going to increase wages for pouring coffee by that much. It is like Dems have zero concept of wage price inflation. Increases in min compensation will provide "a living wage" only if you make the grand stupid assumption that all else will remain equal.
Newsflash, it won't. If labor costs explode, guess what happens. $5 coffee now costs $10. A Chipotle burrito that cost $12 now costs $23. A burger that cost $18 now costs $33. In the end no economic gains are made. All you did was cause huge inflation.
