Basically yes. Not knocking it. I think the education is good except no formal APs was a turn off for us. Facilities are amazing. But other schools like Bullis have equally amazing facilities. But it’s Potomac’s location for Virginia families commuting to DC. Flint Hill is great as well but facilities aren’t quite as nice (still very nice) and it’s not good for people in Arlington or McLean if they commute to DC. Flint Hill is the go to for western Fairfax and Loudoun. Northern Virginia needs more k-12 very bad.
I’m not sure if I’m even sold on Potomac. We have applied for our child. Feel like there aren’t better options in the area. Potomac is basically the only option and that is why it is so difficult to get admitted.
