My theory is that some teachers just can not manage kids and let them loose on games dressed up as education. Math playground? No math there. I check my ES student browsing history and there is persistent use of dubious meterial during core instructional time. When there is a sub it doubles. I do not feel confident in principal or mcps office. Communication with central office is very hard. I am sent from one department to another and they always promise to get back. MCPS website is a browsing nightmare. It feel like obfuscation all along. If you have not peeled under the cover, you have no idea how bureucratic and non transparent it is.

Do you mean adding that particular site to our list of blocked sites, or manually closing out the window every time the kid opens it? Because those are the two options we have with Lightspeed, the current monitoring system. As you can imagine, kids find an infinite number of sites so blocking them one by one is an endless task.

You can also use lightspeed to only allow the sites you are currently using. I find that easier than trying to block sites individually. Then you can just keep adding sites to the approved list.

Public might not be for you, OP, if you're obsessing to the point of posting regularly about this issue. Perhaps you also need to ask yourself why your kid has impulse control issues if they're playing during instructional time... or alternatively, why you're so opposed to your kid having a little relaxing game after they've finished their work.

How do you know what the sites are? All my kids look like actual educational sites, but they still have games.

If you are tired of your kids playing video games all day and not doing school work- check their Chromebooks history and report any video game sites at this link (this is an official MCPS site)
