Not on Epic pass, but the only place I’d consider going is Timberline in WV.

I’d do Timberline over Wisp. Faster lifts, better managed resort.

Thanks! I'd even consider Wisp and eat the epic passes or try to use them later in the winter even though this is our best change, but it looks so cold at all of these places! We are not so afraid of the cold but I already froze everyone out in Finland over winter break. Maybe the forecast will change and I should wait to make a decision.

I’d vote for Seven Springs, as long as you can stay for a few nights. I’ve only been to Whitetail once, and never again. Since it’s the closest Epic resort to the DMV, it’s going to be a zoo and not enjoyable at all.

If someone put a gun to my head, probably Seven Springs, but it's so far away.

You sound like a really fun person.

You're right, that's why I don't go to these places. They're horrid.

Weekend Seven springs. Day trip Whitetail or liberty. I would not go to JF/BB as they are not worth the drive and if you are driving further 7Springs is much better.

Wherever is warmest. Looks to be freezing. The difference between 10 and 20 degrees is huge when I’m skiing.

Are you just going for the day or for a weekend? If the latter then Seven Springs. If a day trip then Whitetail or Liberty are fine. They will all have an abundance of snow by next week!

I was at Whitetail yesterday and it was decent, although they have a drought situation which means they haven't been able to make any snow at all on 3 trails so the storm will help.

I’d choose 7 Springs. Jack Frost is only 1/2 hour further but somehow feels like a lot more when you’re at the end of that drive.

Where would you ski next week on Epic pass? Is Seven Springs the best bet? Should I wait until the last minute to decide? I have 3 kids, but one of them I would ideally like to put in ski school if possible, is the only reason I didn't want to wait until the last minute (and this is already last minute, I already literally just canceled our CO trip!).

I guess my only real options are Seven Springs, or Liberty or Whitetail? I just feel like we'd prefer to be closer at Seven Springs than go to Big Boulder / Jack Frost a little bit farther away.

I've been to Seven Springs once - for one day only, many years ago, and we liked it fine.
