I think the question is “might they close”, not “should they close”? I think one thing we can all agree on is that decisions this year have been inconsistent and sometimes questionable.
So, while I agree with your sentiment I also think it’s possible that they will delay.

Buy winter jackets. You can probably get them at a thrift shop for $10-20.
