OP of this quote. I meant the personalities of the boys, like anyone from my grandma to kindergartner would've recognized One Direction. From Harry's curly hair to Niall's laugh to the fact they all came from working and middle class backgrounds in UK and Irish towns, many felt a connection and you could tell they were normal boys who actually liked each other and were shocked with the fame they received.

Boy bands are an easy formula. Also I think a lot of women don't like sharp criticism and his persona is quite savage. It may be affected for shows but that's something a lot of women think is "mean" and don't want to be around.

He is a big fan of this not quite famous lady.

He's gotten her on several of the Got Talent show versions.



And he was partly responsible for Susan Boyle's career.

They criticized BTS. Stupid of them to put down extremely successful and senior groups before they even get started on the journey.

And PS: they just sold out their first tour in a day so maybe they have a shot!

I was SHOCKED how much I enjoyed this. The first episode auto-played after another show, I couldn't find the remote right away but then started enjoying it and we just kept watching. It was really well produced and I loved the relationship between Simon and his wife(and btw, if you assume he is gay you probably haven't met many British men haha). But most of all, it was fun to get to know the kids and see them navigate the process. I loved the studio episode--how great is Poo Bear at getting the best out of them? There are so many talented people in this world!
