Winchester has a little kids discovery museum that is perfect for your kids’ ages. And if you just want a nice pool, not a water park, the George Washington is great.

Love Winchester!

If you can handle the distance and the drive, the homestead is great but bring life jackets/swimmies. The indoor pool is amazing but deep.

Do you want somewhere to experience winter, or somewhere that’s a nice break in winter (enjoying indoor activities?)

If the former, we had a great weekend at Blackwater Falls Park in VA, but you probably need to wait til kids are a little older. Tons of snow in the ground to play in, a huge sledding hill with a Magic carpet, you can rent snowshoes. The hotel is not fancy, but does have a pool (we rented a cabin, but you also get pool access with cabin rentals).

Williamsburg— some of the hotels/resorts have indoor pools & other activities.

Lancaster/Strasburg, PA— book a hotel with a pool and visit the train museum.

Baltimore— aquarium, science center, train museum, Port Discovery

Philly— Please Touch Museum, Betsy Ross House, Liberty Bell, Franklin Institute

Looking for recommendations for a weekend trip in February - 2 kids under 5, ideally less than 3 hours driving distance from DC. Would prefer a nice hotel with indoor pool option but not picky. Thanks!
