Instagram and YouTube videos are a great start. Kids need to practice a lot to build skills! I cringe when I spend good money on an advanced group training class for my son and the trainer spends lots of time on basic dribbling drills (that my son practices on his own).

There is also Ness Skills & Drills in the Bethesda/Rockville area. My son plays at the rec level, but wants to get more serious, so has started working on ball handling with Ness. If you reach out to them, they will let you drop in on one of their one hour sessions for free to try it out.

Coaches have recommended Rhythm Dribble when my son was starting out on AAU teams. Now that’s he’s more advanced, he finds new dribble routines on YouTube or from trainers he follows on instagram. He also bounces a silent foam basketball indoors but that’s more for fun.

He starts late like a year ago, and he is weak on dribbling but stronger in shooting. Any strong skill clinic to work on dribbling in moco area?
