i WFH. I hang out with my friends about twice a month I would say. A coffee and a dinner, for example.

We do monthly movies nights with a friend group where the teens are friends and the parents are friends. What started out as, oh this would be fun, has turned into a lifeline.

I work full-time.

I see friends every weekend at some point. I have friends who are hyper-local, I agree that helps. I go on walks with people, host people or get invited to other people's homes for pretty informal things. Recent example is inviting people over to watch NFL playoffs.

I prefer not to do weeknights but occasionally do. Maybe once every other month.

I have a group of friends who are not hyper-local but in the DMV and I see them about once a month typically.

Wow, I am nowhere near this social. Maybe 1-2 times a month?

I work full time and hang out with friends 1-2 times a week. Usually coffee or drinks and usually someone hosts a happy hour or party once a month or so.
We live within a mile of each other so that makes it easier.

I work full time. I think I see friends socially once a week or maybe a little less. Sometimes it’s coffee, sometimes a walk, sometimes something more formal like a party.

I tried to see a friend at least once a week.

Full time but not regular Mon-Fri hours.
I have a young teen
I see my friends for dog walks 2-3x a week. One doesn’t even have a dog but walks with me.
I’d say a couple of times a month I see a friend for coffee or lunch.

I do think it’s worth the effort to find hyper local friends. I have not been able to sustain my relationships with friends who live an hour away, but local is much easier.

Oh, and I and my friends all work full time. It just makes it easier to plan and weeekends are family or husband time.

Once a week for lunch always. Once a month for dinner.

YOU can get together online with those friends, too, even if you are far away. If people want to remain friends, they will.

A few times/month. Work part time: DH works double time. DH is now hanging out at least 2x/week playing music together.

Hardly ever. I’m a SAHM but most of my friends work or live to far away to get together often.

Not enough. A few times a month. I meet friends for long dinners. My friends have evolved since my kids were younger..the “group” from early elementary has dissipated long ago.

How often do you (mom) get together with your own friends?

Wondering if people have plans every Saturday night…
