Faster turnaround and better offer than Pitt. Higher ranked for engineering but Pitt probably offers better research opportunities.
If it remains one of her better offers, we'll visit in March.
Similar situation. DC applied and got offers making it cheaper than in-state. Minnesota has a great teaching hospital and research opportunities for my kid. DC has also made great friends and is loving it.
It is cold, but she got proper outerwear to make it work.
