If you smile, I'll smile back. If something is said, I'll respond nicely. I will add a positive vibe to your day, certainly not a negative vibe to your day. But do not do this pay it forward stuff.

Sometime it is easier to give than to be on the side of the recipient.
To be open to receive something freely you need to admit you are vulnerable and you are not always in control

Suggestion: If somebody pays it forward to you just say, please do it for the next person.

Thank you for attending my TED talk.

Too much negative in the world right now

Even small spots of light are worth posting

Just understand that there are plenty of accounts here who will be only too happy to tell you the kitten you rescued probably has fleas or something. If they can’t make any other argument they’ll just try to make you feel bad, even about a coffee.

OP here. You got the point of my post. Unexpected kindness is so rare in a world that is getting dark and mean!

It is not always about money, I can still afford coffee. I was feeling physically and emotionally drained and this small gesture really cheered me up

You are welcome. Saying it since the 'pay it forward' person probably won't read this lol.

To the person in front of me in the line to order my coffee. You gave the barista the money to pay for my coffee today. I did not expect that at all but your act of kindness changed the mood of my (pretty shitty) day. Thank you so much
