The only reason to offer this is to make sure she is choosing clothes she likes on purpose, and not just completely at a loss. (I was completely at a loss, as teen.) If she knows what she likes, let it be.

At 16, no, she won't get bullied. It's a "look". My 15 year old is into Grandma-core. She bought herself crochet cardigans. She has very "out there" clothes as well, and she likes it that way, and isn't bullied in the slightest.

If she’s happy and got friends, no you leave her alone.

DD, 16, is in charge of getting her own clothes within a budget. Her clothes have enough coverage but they’re just so ugly! Dresses with weird shapes and colors. Pantsuits with odd proportions. Combining pants and shirts, both with very “bold” patterns. I fear she might get bullied or it might stop her from making friends. Do I intervene?
