I quit one. I said I was leaving to pursue other opportunities and my last day would be X.
No other reason given.
Didn't burn any bridges. Used some managers there as references. It was finel

Agree. I left once a job like this. I put the resignation letter in am on my bosses' desk and left. She wasn't there, I also left her voicemail message. I was done, had no job lined up. My spouse was working so we could pay the bills. I found another job- in which I am now for 14 years. Best decision ever.

I left with no job offer in hand. I’m still looking. But it was still 100% the right decision for me. She was awful and gaslighting.

Good luck. I left a toxic job and it was the best decision I ever made. Got a better job with more money. It took awhile though. Don't settle.
