My work doesn’t track my social media. Some people I work with do.

I don’t care if I alienate psychopaths. I don’t care if I make somebody feel uncomfortable because they want $50 for their marathon to raise money for research but they voted to cancel all cancer research.. I absolutely will tell them how ridiculous that is in real life as well as online.

No way. I do not need to live my life for the entire world to observe. Political discussions are best for anon boards like this or in person with people I know.

I unfollow anyone who makes any political posts. This includes friends and family, even immediate friends and family. When I realized I didn’t follow my parents or husband anymore (they are on opposite extremes with their views) I decided it was time to delete SM altogether. I am so much happier not on it.

I mute some MAGAers I'm related to but otherwise don't worry about posting political content. I did remove my professional affiliation from my bio. There are so many current 'fires,' I find likeminded folks are helping to keep each other informed. I also don't hesitate to correct any misinformation, mostly on my own side because there is no point in trying to correct those on the other side. Facts and data don't work with them.

Pretty much my reasons as well. And my FB post is not going to change anyone’s mind.
If others post about politics a little, I just keep scrolling. If they post a lot or post lies, I unfollow/mute them.

Why not? They cancelled Cancer research that is important and people consistently post raising money for a stupid race so yea when it was cancelled I posted it.

I mute them if they post things that are lies.
I comment on somethings that are informational or important to people I care about, like cancelling pediatric cancer research.

I Ignore lies, I block pedophiles or supporters of pedophiles.

I don’t make any political comments. I just don’t need the stress or the haters. It’s just not worth my time.

People are so mean nowadays. So many haters. Some are my so called friends on FB. Some are MAGA supporters some are ultra liberal.

I just don’t want to engage. Not worth it.

Yes though not as much anymore because I am jaded and it doesn't matter.

I'm a foreigner waiting for a green card, so I have no public political opinions. Also not a fan of social media, so even if I were a US citizen, I wouldn't post anything.
