Check their schedule when it comes out. Different weeks have different topics. Some topics might use a laptop (tech). Other topics don’t.

I think the camps vary. My upper ES kid did a camp that included tech wizards, where they worked in an arduino car project. Each kid built their own car from the kit and there was a laptop per kid. I’m noting this as my kid has also attended a camp where it was 3-4 kids per laptop. My kid found the project challenging, but enjoyable. I think it would only be basic if your kid is very experienced with robotics? My kid also found both parts of the camp to be more academic than other science-y camps they’ve attended. Your mileage may vary based on your kid, etc.
