One to encourage her to exercise and the other two stress the importance of buying well fitted, well constructed, durable shoes to put focus of how quality footwear can affect one's life. Part of a healthy lifestyle that is not usually given as much thought as it deserves.
Of course, this would entail a mother-daughter shopping outing so include a nice lunch.

What have you gifted your daughter for her 16th birthday? Was it anything special because of the particular birthday?
My eldest is turning 16 and I’m kind of out of ideas… she just got a bunch of clothes and things she wanted for Christmas.
Her phone works fine and she seems happy with it, so I don’t see a reason to update it.
She could use a new laptop, but I rather wait two years and get her a new one as she turns 18 and leaves for college.
My grandmother gifted me a diamond ring when I turned 15 and I was thinking of gifting it to my daughter now, but it is mostly symbolic because I don’t really see her wearing it. I only wore it very occasionally…
Should I strive to gift something special/meaningful or just treat it like any other birthday?
