Same. Have read of four attempted arrests in the region and in half of cases they just left empty handed. None of them were law abiding residents, all had prior convictions.

Do you mean the next MN in terms of the federal administration specifically paying attention and taking particular aim at MD (as opposed to just lumping MD in with the other democratic states it doesn’t like)?

They definitely have their sights on Abrego Garcia, in an almost comically evil way. Especially the way Abrego Garcia says he’ll self-deport to Costa Rica, but the admin refuses bc they are desperate for him to go to a place that he doesn’t want to be (it’s not enough to just leave).

However, I think our governor might be too handsome to target MD more broadly. Trump tends to like handsome guys, even the socialists.

MoCo has very heavy Hispanic and Asian populations. Silver Spring is one of the top 3 most diverse areas of the entire country.
