Rude. I think I've seen teens posting on here when they need advice (hopefully not trolls) and the answers are usually very helpful. Most adults on here are helpful.

I'm pp. Also just be curious, and not judgemental about your process. Can you do a weekly 10 minute evaluation about what worked and what didn't? Then, change tactics. Maybe you do more in the morning. Maybe you draft with a voice recorder while walking. Maybe you schedule time to see your prof to discuss your ideas.

Judging yourself just makes the overwhelm worse. Stop telling yourself everyone has it figured out but you, and say what you need to say in your work.

I just saw a grader on IG show that they have a tool now for Google Docs that will show exact key strokes used to complete the essay and includes how much time it took. I would not rely on these.

It sounds like you need to time block your calendar. When I was in grad school a few years ago, I made a semester calendar with all the due dates. Block off focus time and then slot in there what you will do in that period.

Also, time yourself to see how much time you need for assignment so you are realistic. But, there's also Parkinson's Law, which says that tasks fill the time you allot for them. If you have weekly assignments that include writing, take a block of time and do a sprint to finish it. Then you can add in a 15-minute block to polish.

Right now you need to triage. What is most important and timely? Do that, and then go from there. You've got this!

I have been feeling completely buried with assignments lately. Even when I start early I end up rushing to meet deadlines and my work does not always turn out as polished as I want. I have the ideas but putting them together clearly is a real challenge.

I know everyone has their own way of handling this. Some stick strictly to their own notes and outlines while others use online tools for help. I have heard people mention Grammarly AI assistants like ChatGPT and MyEssayWriter.ai but it is hard to tell which actually makes a difference.

For those who have been in this situation before what strategies worked best for you? Did you rely more on tools or was it about finding a workflow that kept you organized? I would love to hear different approaches and tips for keeping quality high without losing your mind.
