FWIW I have a 3rd grader and our class sizes have generally been between 22-24. I have a friend at Wyngate and their overall have less enrollment (so a lot fewer classes) but she told me her son’s class was more in the mid to high 20s. So before you apply, I might reach out to the various principals to get a gauge of actual class sizes at each school.

That might be challenging to predict because of the proposed class size changes in next year's budget, which is not yet finalized.

We moved and are zoned for Ashburton elementary. Given the overcrowding issue, we are hoping to apply for COSA. How likley is it that our application will be accepted? Also has anyone got into different elementary school this year either Luxmanor or Wyngate with COSA?

All rising 2nd through 5th graders at Ashburton were offered an automatic COSA to Wyngate or Luxmanor this past summer in mid-August, and only had one week to accept the offer. No transportation provided. I don't know of many people who accepted the Luxmanor COSA offer but a number who accepted the Wyngate one. We are also districted for Ashburton and decided to go private for K-5 due to the overcrowding, and then will will likely transition to public for NBMS and WJ.

We had some Ashburton transfers at Wyngate this year due to overcrowding. We were emailed by the school late August before the begging of the year. No transaction. You would have to drive the kid.

I think it helped that it was 5th grade and we were willing to drive our kid and pick him up

They actually did allow this for Ashburton this past summer:

Hello

We moved and are zoned for Ashburton elementary. Given the overcrowding issue, we are hoping to apply for COSA. How likley is it that our application will be accepted? Also has anyone got into different elementary school this year either Luxmanor or Wyngate with COSA?
