. You could say that the rankings app does not capture teams that play kick ball, park the bus, in order to achieve wins, but don’t develop. I get it, but those teams should lose out over the wrong run to teams that develop. So, really what you are saying is that we should only be looking at is the rankings at the top years, those that have prioritized development over winning at the younger ages…. And I would agree. What are the consistent better teams at the older ages, those that have promoted development properly? Then again, there is a lot of movement at the older ages to those clubs that recruit better, which also tends to be the clubs that develop better. So what is the answer other than sending kids to the teams that recruit better? Find the clubs that win better at the older age groups, not the younger, and find the ones that recruit better. That is the answer. Anything else is nonsense.
