Then lodging is about 6k, I think? Rental car is a little less than 1k.

So I would guess 15k all in?

Lol no way flights are 300 a person

I read that as tickets were 1000 EACH.
5 people flying to Europe for $1000? No way.

You’re spending 1100 a night to stay in Florida!?

Not that PP but we are paying like 1800 a night for a beachfront room in key largo. I’m not posirve we’re going to do this but I booked it many many months ago as a placeholder. If you want to be right on beach with beachfront room, it’s expensive. We stayed at this hotel during the pandemic and liked it so I admit I didn’t shop around a lot.

That’s crazy.

Sorry — major typo -/ paying that for TWO rooms in key largo, not one!

We are going to Westetn Europe for 9 days, me, spouse and HS senior. Probably won’t do a big summer trip.

Around 10-12k w flights, stays, food and excursions. 3 different cities.

Similar HHI and we can afford it.

The question is, why do you ask?

I always feel like people expect some magical price difference or at some points magic to happen during spring break or peak travel times and it just isn’t possible without either a ton of work or luck. Also, only every individual family knows what they can afford. Just pay attention to what you can afford.

Used points for flights and hotel pre and post cruise. Cruise was snagged during a flash sale. Probably the cheapest spring break family vacation in years.

I’m planning somewhere in the Caribbean and have options I am choosing from for flights plus hotel for about 5k for family of 4.
So about 1.25k per person.

Car, food, and activities will be additional.

HHI 300k

Belize for 2. $3300 pp for AI + Diving. Airfare is okay for me ($500) but ridiculous for DD ($1500). She's flying from school in CA.

For spring break I try to stay at $5k or $6k total, but totally depends on where you’re going and HHI/budget.

We're planning a family vacation for 3 for April break, and it makes me curious how much others spend on 7-9 days of travel per person? Our HHI is about 300K. Haven't quite figured out April break yet, but working on it today! How much do you spend per person on a week vacation.
