It’s really only in menopause that this frizziness has begun. For years I’ve used aveda’s Be Curly cream and their brilliant gel, but with menopausal thinning it’s just too heavy. It gets flat AND frizzy.

Brush it out and then apply OUAI leave-in conditioner. USE the Revlon dryer (nothing works better than this--even the Dyson). Follow up with a tiny bit of the OUAI hair oil. Then, twist it into a tight bun until you're ready to go out.

With which attachment and what type of hair do you have?

Good question -- OP what is your desired texture?
I am using a run of the mill leave in and hear protecting but recently started using the Wavytalk steam straightener brush on air-dried hair and it's been a huge help for resolving my frizz issues. I can use it to make my hair stick straight, or put it on a lower heat setting and run it through my hair quick once to get loose but frizz-free, shiny waves. Being able to let hair air dry has been really helpful for preventing dryness, and the steam seems to be a lot gentler on my hair than even a diffuser.
