We live Camp Hidden Meadows, a sleep a way camp in WV, but they have local buses. Perfect for my kid a year older than yours.

My public school kids go to private school camps and I have always noticed that the parent population is very different. Lots of giant SUVs and a&&holes at pickup for the private school camps - even when the kids take the bus. It's not zero at public school pickup but it's way more in private.
I went to a private school myself, and was the child of a faculty member, so I heard plenty from my parent about how my classmates behaved and how their parents behaved. Don't fool yourself into thinking private school equals well behaved kid.

Hmm. That sounds like a very specific issue, with some bad kids. I hope the camp dealt with it. It's an overgeneralization to think this is universal.
My private school kids have never experienced anything like what you are describing at any camp.

No, these are real problematic behaviors that none of the actual students at the school have. It is really upsetting to hear about what these kids say and so during the camp day.

My kid has done public and private school.
She did many years at Camp Sonshine. Now she’s in MS she’s mainly doing sports camps. I have no idea if the kids she goes with her private or public school students. This is a weird question.

You are overthinking this.
I think the only difference you’ll see is that some/many private schools offer their own summer camps. Everyone, no matter where they go to school, can enroll. However, don’t be surprised to see for example, SR girls at SR camps (and so on).
Beyond that, private school kids go to all of the normal summer camps. Calleva, sports camps, overnight camps, special interest camps for things like drama or music or cooking, etc.
