Heights families are considered super-duper old school Catholics that go so far above and beyond to embrace outdated conservative beliefs not commonly held by most practicing Catholics.

It’s a big choice that says something about your family if you opt to send your kid there.

Yes, I know all about Opus Dei, thank you.

Then you would agree that it would be pretty unusual to find lightweight or non practicing Opus Dei Catholics, right? It's a silly question. Opus Dei is rather intense.

You seem confused. Most families at the Heights aren’t Opus Dei members.

Yes, but most are very Catholic.

And 100% are ok supporting an Opus Dei organization.

What’s the average family size? 5 or 6 kids?

I don’t get the responses on this thread. The Heights markets itself as following a conservative Opus Dei approach. Thus, it attracts conservative families looking for education aligned with conservative Catholic values and teaching. Of course there will always be a random non-Catholic who has chosen to attend the school for whatever reason. But let’s not kid ourselves that most families there are practicing Catholics who lean on the conservative end of things. And that is fine! For girls, you will find the same at Oakcrest, and that is also fine if that’s what you are looking for!

We are not a Heights family.

For those that have sons at the Heights, what percentage of the Catholic families are practicing Catholics? As in they go to Mass every weekend and are involved in their local parishes?
thank you!
