What kind of credit analyst? Home loans and personal lending? Commercial lending? PE IB M&A? He would need significant finance courses for the latter. For the first two he could probably take a few courses in Banking Credit Underwriting and Lending. I think these roles are heavily impacted by ai though for a while credit has been extended via algorithms and decisioning made by machines (think of all the pre approved credit card offers you get in the mail) so do some research.

From international relations to call center to credit? that is a meandering ‘I don’t know who I am or what my talents are’ path. Get him a coach or point him back to his alumni career center.
