Calc BC. You shouldn't take calc 3 before taking calc 2.

Calc BC. Kid will want string math foundation. Can take MVC at UMd (or wherever).

I posted that your kid should take MVC but it didn't go through.

If your kid is at a public high school in Maryland and takes MVC, he should be able to take the UMD Math Department exam at the end of 12th grade. If he gets a C or higher, he can pay thirty dollars and fill out a form and get the grade factored into his GPA and get UMD credit for the class. If he doesn't do well on the exam and doesn't want the grade on his UMD transcript, he doesn't have to get credit for it. He can just take the class again at UMD.

So, yes, if he can, he should take MVC. Unless there is a reason not to we are not privy to.

UMD has bioengineering, not biomedical engineering even though two are similar

You need SAT score to guess.

Is it possible to take AP Physics C? That would help.

EE and ComputerE students typically take 3 semesters of Physics in most engineering programs.

UMCP engineering admissions is increasingly competitive. I do not have good data in what it takes to get accepted these days.

Be sure also to apply to UMBC which is an easier admit and still is a strong engineering school, especially for EE or ComputerE or CS.

As a hiring manager, I would be equally happy to hire a UMCP engineering graduate as a UMBC engineering graduate -- and I am not unusual in this. ABET sets a high floor for engineering programs.

My Child will be going to senior year in high school during fall of 2026. So far here are the courses taken till junior year, giving only STEM related courses

AP calculus BC, honors chemistry, honors physics , AP Biology and finished Introduction to engineering design, principles of engineering in the PLTW pathway

For senior year, here are the courses planned.

Digital electronics, AP computer science, PLTW Capstone project, AP statistics and Micro Macro economics.

Has a GPA of 4 now, but may goto 3.9 SAT yet to take.

With the above courses, is there a possibility of getting into either Electrical, computer science or biomedical engineering in UMD?

We are MD resident.
