Age 10 and still wet every night. The pills didnt work at all. Haven't tried the alarm yet.

Pediatrician says to expect it to end with puberty in a couple of years.

He does have adhd. I would correct the other poster that it's not a symptom but is correlated. They dont know why but think its linked to brain development.

Ends when his body is producing enough ADH/Vasopressin to start regulating urine production overnight. It's as simple as that.

You cannot 'train' or medicate a kid out of bedwetting. It's a physiological process that is developed. It tends to take longer in boys.

It's far more common than people realize, parents just don't usually talk about it amongst other parents.

I had one son that started staying dry overnight before we even started daytime potty training at 3~ years old.

His older brother is 8 and has had maybe one dry pull-up overnight in the past year or so. It's fine.

DS is 13, and he also stopped at 12, He might have a few accidents since last year. I believe he had an accident on Christmas EVE, make sense because he ate late that day, before that was maybe once in November and August, then mayish.

It can be a symptom of ADHD or autism.

Mine is ten and we just started therapee. On week three and he's been dry 7 out of 9 nights after never having a dry pull up - not even once- before we started in late December. The bedwetting pills didn't even work.

Around 8 for mine too. Pediatrician was not concerned but DS wanted sleep overs. We ended up trying an alarm which worked very well for us.

My son is 9 and only wets when he’s constipated or getting sick. But my nephew wet somewhat frequently until he was fully into puberty at 14. I think there is a wide range of normal, but it’s annoying!

It was about age 11 for my son. It went from daily-ish til he was 9 and went to 2-3 days a week for a couple years.

Oh PP again - if there are phases where it’s better then worse, that was a think for us too with the diabetic kid.

Mine did and it turned out he was diabetic. Not a high probability, but thought I’d mention it
