Anonymous wrote:Hi - my inlaws booked an OBX house for this summer with them + my husband’s 3 siblings and their spouses, all but one of which have kids.
1 sibling has 2 toddlers (will be 5 and 2) unvaccinated, another family has 2 toddlers (3 and 1) but on a “spaced out” vax schedule.
For this trip we’ll have a 2 yo (fully vaxxed) and a 2 month old (obviously not yet eligible to be vaxxed). I was not pregnant when this trip was booked.
I’ve told my husband (he agrees) that I will not be going with our 2 month old, so he’ll be taking the 2 year old alone. Not putting the newborn at risk.
Beyond that now I’m wondering if our 2 year old should even be around her unvaccinated cousins - this is NC and measles cases are starting up, even though she will be up to date for her age. Also curious how others would approach letting the families know. We haven’t let anyone know our plan. Thanks all!

Why is the unvaccinated family attending?
