Close to. Submitted on the 31st.

Received the interview request a few days ago. Interview scheduled for next week.

I interview for a different Ivy and I usually get the assignments in January. How long it takes the alum to reach out to the student varies. Later in season like February I often get requests to do additional online interviews in places they didn’t have enough interviewers. This is often California and international.

My kid submitted apps last week of December, early January. Georgetown is the only interview request he’s received. None of the Ivies (that do them) or Duke, Stanford.

With my 2024, he had a few right after submission, within days, so …yikes

I don't think Yale has sent out requests yet (to the regional alum interview coordinator who then assigns interviews to the alum) for their first round of interviews. but should be any day.

Last year, DC submitted application to Yale a day before the deadline. Received interview request about 12 days later. Accepted, but ended up elsewhere.

Interview lists are sent out to a regional coordinator who then sends the to the interviewers who are responsible for reaching out.

My son never heard anything last year from his top choice school but then one evening when he was showering he got a cell phone call from a guy saying "hi, Im calling to interview you from XYZ University. I know it's late. I've been busy. Can you do it right now? My report is due in 3 hours."

Harvard came about two days after submission.

DC also got MIT interview request yesterday

DC got MIT interview request approximately 14 hours after submitting their application. DMV

Particularly interested when Yale, Harvard, Duke and MIT start interviewing
