If it’s sweat, try cornstarch before putting on socks

I had this as a kid, and I loved to peel the skin.
I never knew what it was, and it didn’t bother me. Wasn’t itchy, didn’t hurt. Spontaneously went away at some point.

It’s athletes foot. You need to try laser.

My 7yo has had peeling skin on her toes on and off for a year and I can’t figure out what’s going on. She initially had fungus on a couple toenails, so took her to a podiatrist and she has been using Jublia for 9 months which cleared it, and he also had her on an RX for athlete’s foot so things were fine for a while.
I am not even sure the peeling is Athlete’s Foot since it’s at the top and back of her toes (like above and back side of where the nail is) vs in between her toes. It doesn’t itch at all either. But the skin just keeps peeling off.
Took her to a dermatologist who recommended trying and OTC athlete’s foot cream and maybe it helped with the peeling or maybe it just went away coincidentally, but a few weeks later now it’s back.
She hasn’t had HFM or been sick that I know of. She has been wearing a brand new pair of shoes this week so can’t be fungus from that, and I regularly toss old socks plus I wash everything in Lysol sanitizing detergent.
Has anyone experienced sweaty toes? What could it be?
