I find laying a pillow across my thighs calms my urge to move legs. The weight.

My legs were restless but not diagnosed with anything. A weighted blanket (20 pound) eliminated the fidgety feeling.

Missing a dose of Trazadone makes me have restless leg. Sometimes it happens anyway. It's so uncomfortable. It is almost an uncontrollable urge to move constantly. The only thing that helps me is to fight that urge and stay as still as possible until it goes away.

That is 100% wrong. My psychiatrist prescribed Gabapentin along with Celexa, Buspar and Wellbutrin.

I had a horrific time with it.

I have a bug crawling sensation from it. It started in my legs at night when I was trying to fall asleep. Then it was waking me up. Then it was 24/7. Then it was all over my body. Doctors literally thought I was crazy. Finally a neurologist sent me for a sleep study, and the sleep doctor was like "Oh, yeah -- that's RLS. It's a weird, lesser seen manifestation of it."

Back then you wouldn't see it mentioned at all as a symptom of RLS anywhere. Now, it's listed everywhere you see anything about RLS, and in fact they don't call it RLS anymore because so many people have symptoms other than the classic restless legs -- it's now Willis Ekbom syndrome or something like that.

Hmm, so Sometimes when I’m lying down at night, it feels like my toes are almost going to sleep, and I have the urge to move them to get rid of the subtle feeling, is that what this is?

I get in my left lower leg. It feels like the inside of my leg is squirming and I have to move it or sit with my left leg folded under me to crush it

For me, it’s like an electrical surge that runs through my lower leg. It’s annoying but not painful. And it makes me want to move my leg to get it to stop. I can’t take Tylenol PM anymore because it happens every time I do.

What does it feel like to you? I’ve looked up online, but the symptoms are more clinical in nature and not personal experiences. I’m just curious what it feels like to different people.
