Ascot has a large selection and personable service (work with the owner Paul if you can).

Frank Darling has really neat designs - wasn’t blown away by the sales associate’s knowledge though.

Heard good things about someone near Union Market but forgetting their name now. It’s a local woman owned shop.

I used Shahla Karimi in NYC and they were awesome to work with “remote”. Creative designs and the craftsmanship is excellent so far.

We got our rings from I. Gorman 15 years ago - family owned and operated. Everything from classic to modern styles.

Check out Lauren priori in DC. It’s a custom jewelry shop that has rings in stock and they can source lab diamonds too.

I don't know what kind of access to lab diamonds you'll find, but we were very happy with Quest for our wedding rings.

The Costco jewelry is terribly boring. I'd rather pay more for a more novel design.

We're in the market for new wedding bands and want to buy in person. Would love to find a lab grown diamond place, but we went to Brilliant Earth and were underwhelmed. Any suggestions?
