She said all the right things (she thinks of the victims at holidays, she remembers their birthdays, etc) but the one thing Goncalves’ father wants - to know what the family knew, what happened in their house after the raid, etc - she’s not willing to give him. She’s holding back and thinking of herself and not what the victim families need.

And I sense she’s holding back. Normal people don’t snap like that. I bet he tortured pets, had no friends, and never showed emotion to his family. And they just ignored it and she’s all, we had a great upbringing! He was a great brother! Give me a break.

Yep, that was my takeaway, too. I don't know why she thought it would be a good idea to do that interview.

I also thought it was not believable that she didn’t think it was his car due to the year. She knew he drove a white car and that model, and he lived 15 min away from the house where the women were killed, but didn’t suspect because it said 2011-2013 and he had a 2015.

It's probably just something the brain does, because we can't comprehend something so shocking.

Given his history, there's no way she didn't consider the possibility.

Which history are you referring to? Autism? Heroin? That he was fat? Bullied?

Even if she considered the history, the brain may have latched onto a detail that you or I would clearly not take as so exacting (2015 vs. 2013)

No, reports from multiple sources indicate that he was definitely not normal. Which doesn’t preclude him being nice to his sister, and being given a standard upbringing.

He is not normal, is she?

Former heroine addict? Quick to anger? He wasn't normal.

I would love to read this too! Their family has been dead silent, so I’m really surprised about this
