Burke’s Silver 1 group is attending but not their Bronze 1 group. This means only the 13-14 Age group swimmers, not the younger ones.

I think that they do and coaches do as well. They just need to do it in one season. Either the current or thr prior. It is a long qualifying period.

You get a lot of 13s who are in based on their 12 year old scores.

this is what happened to NCAP germantown.. they now no longer NCAP

they transitioned to their own club -- this happens for a number of reasons. coaching philosophy, money, personality conflicts, etc. Not because of meet choices. And certainly not IMX. The bigger meets is when meet selection becomes an issue. Does a club choose Sectionals of ICSA, is the club good enough to be invited to NCSAs, etc.

I don’t know what you’re trying to say, but the former NCAP North was an independent franchise of NCAP and it’s owners decided to create their own club instead of be under the NCAP umbrella.

It can also be groups within a single site attending different meets. If age groupers span multiple groups, they may not all attend the same meets, even if they all swim for the same site.

To give kids from other clubs a chance to earn a plaque?

It's not. It's someone with an honest question about why all NCAP groups don't attend this meet. Where the answer is no one knows except the people at franchise locations who do the scheduling.

The OP is not a very well rounded troll. Low version of whatever is the DCUM version of IMX score

Each NCAP location chooses their own meets. If your site doesn't go and you want to, bring it up to the coach for next year.

I think just the VA sites do the IMX meet. Just looking at the myswimio IMX rankings, the vast majority of NCAPs best age group swimmers are at Loudoun, West or NoVa, so most of the club’s top age group swimmers will be at that meet. The #1 girls from ages 9-14 are all from those sites, as are the #1 10, 12, 13, and 14 year old boys.

Because IMX is not a big deal.
