Don't love it, makes me think of 90s teen mom vibes. I feel like Riley/Hailey/McKenzie were Nickelodeon or Disney character names around then and a lot of people who had kids too young glommed on to those names as aspirational, like an 80s mom naming their kid for a soap star.
I guess Haley is the more common spelling now because of Bieber, but Halley would be my preferred spelling because then there's some ambiguity that the parents could just be really into astronomy. Avoid extra ys and for the love of dog please no -eighs.
