OP, what work you need will depend entirely on the specific issues you are facing. Many people are suggesting surgery because at a certain point it's the only thing that is going to make a significant difference. Many people waste a lot of money on non surgical procedures that don't make a lasting difference. That money may have been better spent on a facelift.
Do you have wrinkles that can be addressed with Botox? Did you lose weight in the face and want fillers and/or Sculptra? Do you have discoloration, scars, etc that should be addressed with laser? Do you already use retinol or tretinoin?
I'd spend quite a bit of time online educating yourself on what the various options are before booking any procedures. The problem with the industry is that if you go to a medspa they will sell you the specific treatments they offer. If you go to a plastic surgeon they will say surgery is the only answer. If you only have a hammer, etc.
FWIW, I personally tried a Botox brow lift and loved the result but after two injector sessions decided to just spend the money on an upper bleph. It works out cheaper in the long run. I liked CO2 laser results but felt it was expensive and won't do it again. I tried a vampire facial and didn't see much in the way of results. I'm only in my 40's and YMMV.
