Yes both sets slept in the same bed, born in 20s/30s. Both sets of our parents born in the 1950s sleep in the same bed too.

I only had one set of grandparents alive when I was young. They shared a room and bed.

Yes my grandparents did. Born in the 1880s. Parents did even in unhappy marriage born in 1910s.

One set did and the other slept in separate bedrooms. My parents also sleep in separate bedrooms due to health concerns.

80's kid - both of my sets of grandparents slept in the same bed, though one set had twins pushed together. My parents slept in the same bed but had a wall of pillows between them.

Wait what? My grandparents slept together, my parents do not. DH grandparents did not, parents did.
Do you think it’s the snoring? I simply can’t imagine not sleeping w him. When he’s gone I sleep horribly but he does use a cpap.

I had grandparents both still alive in the 70s who did have the twins pushed together in basically a fixed mobile home trailer off a big lake in the Midwest. Very Lucy Desi style complete with the ballet dancer prints.

Different set of grandparents slept in the 1st floor bedroom in a house that was so structurally compromised that it was demolished in the 80s. The floors creaked every single time you walked in. And I only weighed like 70lbs.

Floors creak, that's completely normal.

+1. Also…wtf does that have to do with anything?

My grandparents slept in the same bed (both born in the 1910s), but my DH and I have separate bedrooms (we are in our 50s).

I know more couples now that sleep in different rooms (I am early 50s). I think because people tend to have bigger homes now.

Both sets of grandparents had separate bedrooms when I was a child in the 80s and 90s. One set was wealthy, the other poor. Both sets were of European descent.

Yes they did and so did my (now deceased) parents.
I however, sleep in an entirely separate room. He has his room, I have my room, they are next door to each other and we visit but don't sleep over.

I saw the is asked on TikTok. It was culture specific to my ethnic background but I figure I would ask it here where there is a mixture of races/ethnicities.

No, my one set of living grandparents did not sleep in the same room nor bed. They were both born one in the 1890s and the other in early 1900s. I never thought twice about it either. The comments on the video confirmed many households had this setup.

Did yours?
