I’m multi-ethnic (South Asian, Black, White) and I do not get this. Everyone can be categorized. Phenotypically Barack Obama will always be categorized as a black man and Stephen Graham will be categorized as a white man. It’s simply how the world is setup. In discussion their true roots come out but upon first glance people will see your outward appearance and determine your placement. If they were criminals caught stealing your car outside of your house, no one is looking at either of these men and saying “a biracial man stole my car”. It would be a black man (BO) or a white man (SG).
