As a parent, I suspected this to be the case. But as teachers, you all need to call this out via the MCEA. I hope MCEA President David Stein says this about CFTs during the operating budget hearings.

Why is the county continuing to fund these roles and if these are some of the ‘best’ teacher leaders, shouldn’t they come and model lessons at their schools and teach us teachers? If parents spoke up, maybe these people would actually help schools.
