This. I prefer to be the submissive one, but unfortunately, most men are not good in a dominant/leader role, whether inside or outside the bedroom. They prefer to lead from the back, not the front (and I don't mean that as innuendo).

Women are naturally submissive. This is why they are always more attracted to men that are taller than them. Even the most dominant women want a tall man she can look up to.

When you hear a hyphenated last name you’ll often find what you seek.

Im changing the names to protect but my friend Dave’s last name is Wilson-Kang; he married a bossy Chinese lady.

What part of "non-explicit" don't you understand?

The question has no explicit parts to it especially considering other threads.

Women are more likely to be anxious and need to be in control. This isn't really being dominant but it could look like it.

This just isn't at home. If you have ever worked with a large group of women, they end up bickering or drama due to the challenges of wanting to be in control. For example, we had women get in an argument over organzing a social event and wanting different things, and in another instance over what should go on a bulletin board.

I would go so far as to say this is actually the norm. Men are not usually the dominant ones in a relationship, even when they think they are.

My DH is dominant in the bedroom though

My DW is like this but she is also very organized. She likes to criticize, micromanage, and keeps on giving input for small things all the time and that happens more from control than trying to make things better. Some people just can't handle stress anymore.

I feel like most long term relationships end up in this dynamic, often because of the disproportionate mental load on women.

Sure, definitely.

Yes but some of us would rather not be.

There are 4 billion women in the world. Do you really think they are all timid submissive mice?

Whether outside or inside the bedroom?
