Number 3 overall draft pick, Nick Simmonds, grew up in Richmond and played for Richmond United and signed a development contract and appeared with Richmond Kickers.

Great soccer family with his older sister Kam playing at FSU and for the Jamaican National Team and his younger twin brothers at Philly Union academy.

It would be interesting to see lists where all these college players played their youth soccer
