UChicago is a legit T10 because of the education and research opportunities. One of the best undergraduate educations in the country. Their acceptance rate and yield are not part of the metrics used.

My dc is the ED1 applicant, we are estimating 5 pm EST release. Lots of deferrals in EA. They try and coax kids into switching to ED2.


Does anyone know of anyone who got into Chicago EA? How do they coax deferrals into ED2s?
