I've been dating my gf for over a year now, and we both have kids. For the last holiday season and birthdays, I have given her kids pretty generous gifts. However, she didn't gift my children anything this past year. I'm not sure how to feel about this (and finance isn't the issue). I'm all about gifting, but feel a bit sad for my children that the effort and energy isn't reciprocated for them. She says that this is something she doesn't even think to do. I can't demand that she gifts anything, but just wondering if it's tacky to scale down what I give to her kids moving forward.
