You are tipping a valet parking attendant by app? You have to get your phone, open the app, find out the valet's information, input that information and then send a tip?

You people are nutz.

I have the same problem with housekeepers in hotels. I ALWAYS forget cash. They should post a QR code!

I always carry cash for all tips. I go to the ATMs that give out small bills to make it easier.

I always have cash on hand for such expenses so I don't have the experience of "feeling sorry" for the poors.

I barely carry any cash on me these days as I am able to use my credit cards, apple pay and Venmo pretty much everywhere. Even the nail salons have the QR code of the nail techs posted at checkout so you can tip them via Venmo.
The one exception is valet parking. I don't use valet that much, but most of the time when I valet my car, I can't always anticipate it, and I do not have any cash on me. I just wish there was a way to pay them electronically.
Do you always carry cash on you for the valet? I can't be the only person in this situation.
