Subject: ISO cooking class for my 23 yo and his gf
If they like to cook and are familiar with a kitchen then I’d gift them something like a NYT or ATK digital subscription. If they are newbies and you want them to learn then an upscale cooking class might not exactly fit the bill.

What exactly are you looking for? Classes for people who already know how to cook? Help for people who don't? Is there any hint of a nag in here ("You spend too much on takeout!")?
If they can sort of cook, a knife skills class is really helpful.

If by "high end" you mean expensive then you are out of luck. That is the going rate for a cooking class.

I'd like to get a gift card for a cooking class for my DS and his GF. Sur La Table seems a bit too high end for us. Are there other places you would recommend? We're in the Falls Church City area.
