Second Ticket to Ride and Telestrations (and Clue has some pretty board versions!)

We also really like Codenames. Good for all ages (particularly mixed ages, which can help the younger ones).

Scattergories, Taboo, Trivial Pursuit, and Scrabble are also standards in our house

Target has a line of games that are packaged to look like books. They are classic games like Monopoly, Yahtzee, Scattergories. I think they're a fun twist on nostalgia.

We played at Thanksgiving with an 8 y/o, a tween, teens, young adults, and not-young adults. It was really fun and engaging.

Oh, NM I see you want something nice to leave out. Agree with mancala, or maybe one of those solitaire puzzle games where you try to leave as few marbles behind as possible.

Thank you for the ideas and Telestrations sounds really fun.

Maybe Shut the Box or Number Knockdown (which are similar). They have single player or multi player version, some are nicer wood than others. That could be a fun coffee table game that's easy to leave out and play quickly, but doesn't require set up.

I’m looking for something that would appeal to elementary- college age kids ( not necessarily all at once)

Would love to find something solid, nicely finished? Thinking along the lines of man aka.

I’ve seen 4 D tic tac toe, not sure how fun that would be.

Thanks for any ideas!
